“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down “happy”. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment. I told them they didn’t understand life.” —John Lennon (via helenista)
I put on a fake smile everyday.
The truth is, I have a bad habit of comparing myself to others. There’s always someone with a better smile, nicer clothes, brighter eyes, and amazing hair. I put myself down all the time. I can never be happy with the way I look at all. I’m self-conscious and that’s probably the number one thing I want to change about me.
I hate how
I let the littlest things get to me.
